The official product listing names PS5 and PS5 Pro Enhanced. A PS5 Pro is optional: the standard PS5 can play the game. A Digital Edition console needs a digital copy; a physical disc needs a compatible disc drive.

This is Insomniac’s original Wolverine story, created with Marvel Games. The official feature summary describes close-range claw combat, swappable Techniques and Adaptations, and a Rage system. Its locations include Canada, Tokyo and Madripoor.

The ESRB listing is Mature and includes intense violence, blood and gore, strong language, partial nudity and drug reference. It is not a family-friendly superhero game.

The PlayStation page lists one player, offline play enabled and Remote Play supported. It does not list co-op or competitive multiplayer. Downloading a digital purchase and updates requires an internet connection.

The listing also says PS5 and PS Portal cloud streaming requires a Premium subscription. Cloud streaming and Remote Play are different services; neither should be confused with a separate PC release. Review the service’s regional and account requirements before subscribing.

DualSense vibration and trigger effects are supported. The official PS5 features also include SSD loading and Tempest 3D audio, with audio setup requirements noted on the product page.

If you are still deciding, compare the Metacritic critic and user scores and our buying assessment. Scores measure different samples and can change; a single average cannot tell you whether you will enjoy the combat or story.
