Characters
Confirmed villains, Sabretooth’s role and the Psylocke question.
Marvel's Wolverine Villains
Bolivar Trask drives the plot, but the roster runs from Omega Red and Lady Deathstrike to the Reavers, The Hand and Sentinels.
Sabretooth in Marvel's Wolverine
Confirmed and voiced by Brett Gipson — but whether he is a boss or a rival is the one thing sources disagree on.
Psylocke in Marvel's Wolverine
No official source places Psylocke in this game. The confusion traces to a Marvel Legends figure set from a different franchise.
Is Marvel's Wolverine in the Same Universe as Spider-Man?
Same universe, different era. Insomniac built one shared Marvel world — and set Wolverine at a point before the X-Men exist in it.
Jean Grey in Marvel's Wolverine
Krizia Bajos plays a Jean Grey who leads captured mutants rather than attending a school — and her scenes with Logan drew some of the strongest review praise.
Walter Langkowski (Sasquatch)
A physicist who tried to build his own Hulk and opened a door instead. The comics history behind the name players are searching after the PS5 game.
Apocalypse in Marvel's Wolverine
The antagonist of the entire campaign is never seen in the flesh and never fought. What he actually is in this game, and why that is the point.
Mister Sinister in Marvel's Wolverine
The game casts Nathaniel Essex as a trusted ally first and withholds the name players already know — a structure borrowed straight from the comics.
Omega Red in Marvel's Wolverine
The first proper boss, fought while rescuing Essex — and a fight built to punish exactly the aggression the rest of the game rewards.
Tyger Tiger in Marvel's Wolverine
Madripoor’s crime boss, the owner of the Princess Bar, and the neatest piece of casting in the game — Kelly Hu, back in the franchise in a new role.
Who Is Walter in Marvel's Wolverine?
Players finish a scene, search the name, and find nothing. Walter Langkowski is Sasquatch — and the scope of his role is the part nobody has documented.
Shiro Yoshida (Sunfire) in Marvel's Wolverine
The Team X member nobody marketed. Shiro Yoshida hosts the Tokyo missions from his Shinjuku penthouse and turns up for the final fight.
